Yesterday, watched an episode of 康熙来了. They were interviewing 2 celebrity couples who had recently held their weddings. The couples are 5566's 王仁甫 + 季芹 and B.A.D's Alex + 许维恩(Sharon).

During the interview, they mentioned Sharon's ex-boyfriend, 杨明学. 明学is a songwriter and passed away in 2004. One of the songs that he had written is 《旋木》sang by Faye Wong.

I didn't know behind this song, there is a touching story. This song was 明学 final gift to Sharon before he passed away. The MV's main characters are Sharon and 明学.


Sharon and Alex were together after 明学 passed away. On 明学 death anniversary or birthday, Sharon would bring Alex to visit 明学's grave. Before their wedding, Sharon dreamt of 明学. He was dressed in a black suit, sitting on the wheelchair and gave his blessings to her.

On the wedding day, Alex sang this song 旋木 to Sharon to give this a "beautiful ending". I didn't quite understand what this means, but I supposed this is how Alex show that he respects their relationship.
